He was voted the UK’s ‘Outstanding PR practitioner of the Year’ in 2013 by fellow PR professionals. Founder of the Wakefield Media Centre, an award-winning European-funded regeneration project. He has lectured and delivered training workshops for blue chip brands including Microsoft, E Bay, Etisalat, British Airways, and the British Council. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Dave has a proven track record of building success with projects in the public and private sector with expertise in a number of areas including digital transformation, content marketing and digital communications.He has authored online training courses in value-based business and digital communications and his frameworks and learning platforms are being used across the globe by Xerox, Canon, Toshiba. Dave is an advisor to SMEs, blue chip companies and not-for profits operating in the UK, US, Canada and Australia and is currently working with Simon Community, Scotland on a resources website to help eradicate homelessness.He has also provided digital communications and public relations for 38Degrees, Engender, and Local Govt.
Dr. Gareth Loudon
A background in product innovation with major global brands including Apple and Ericsson. Gareth is now a part-time Principal Lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University in product design. His research interests focus on creativity, play and innovation, combining ideas from anthropology and psychology, engineering and design. Gareth’s research work relates to understanding the factors and processes that affect creativity including the relationship to play and a person’s ‘state of being’. He is also a non-Executive Director at Rikoset, an award winning, specialist manufacturer of highly-engineered, bespoke protection products for the top Premier League football clubs including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Martin has an outstanding track record in innovation development and management for major blue chip organizations including Saint Gobain, Jewson, Stena AB, Thames Water, 3i, Lloyds Capital, Rockware group, and the British Airports Authority Martin has strong inter-personal and facilitation skills, with the ability to quickly analyze what appear to be complex issues, and deliver realistic, pragmatic solutions. He has particular experience in insight research, Action Learning development programmes, personal board level mentoring and organizational redesign. A Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, he has a genuine passion for new thinking in community regeneration.
